Most people will agree that Christian Science is known...
Natal Witness
Most people will agree that Christian Science is known in the world for its healing and regenerating power, and that the public is getting better informed of its activities through the courtesy of the press.
Editors of reputable newspapers have recognized that Christian Science is not a mere passing phase of religious emotion, but a Christian religion, which has become a world movement, and publications of its authorized lectures, of excerpts from its weekly Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, and of other items reporting its worldwide progress keep readers abreast of the times and enlighten them in regard to the teachings and the activities of Christian Science.
Sometimes Christian Science is criticized in the press by people who have not quite understood its fundamental teachings, and who think that Christian Scientists simply ignore evil by merely saying that it is not real! Christian Scientists know that evil is unreal because it is not created by God. The Bible declares that God is "of purer eyes than to behold evil," and that He is the only creator. Christian Scientists understand that evil is a belief of the carnal mind, and must be recognized as such in order that it may be destroyed by Truth, for "the carnal mind is enmity against God."
