Although "A.J.," in the letter in your issue of today, claims to have read the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, without receiving any enlightenment or healing from it, that does not in any way alter the fact that thousands of its readers have received those benefits.

The last chapter in this unique book, entitled "Fruitage," contains letters from many people in different parts of the world who have been healed through studying the book.

But this is not the only result of the advent of Christian Science. Mrs. Eddy's discovery that the power of God, when understood, heals today, as in the time of Jesus and his apostles, has awakened Christian churches to the endless possibilities of spiritual healing and to the demand that our Lord's commands be obeyed in their completeness—"Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils."
