It is with deep gratitude for the healing power of God as revealed in Christian Science that I give this testimony.

Three surgeons, residing in different cities, had said it would be necessary for me to have an operation to rectify an internal disorder which had caused me much suffering over a period of years. Finally I was confined to bed under the care of one of these physicians. There were days during this experience when it was necessary to have a trained nurse in attendance constantly. The last diagnosis was a most startling and discouraging one, and I was also confronted with financial loss and unemployment.

After hours of deliberation as to what I should do, an angel thought came to me and comforted me greatly. I remembered that several years before a friend had recommended Christian Science to me, so the relative with whom I was staying helped me to find the name of a Christian Science practitioner in the telephone directory. From the moment the call was made my healing began to take place. The practitioner arrived shortly. I remember telling him that all I wanted was to know more about God, and that I thought I should find Him in Christian Science; that I was in need of healing, and had turned to God alone for help. From that time sickness was not mentioned.
