I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science. Over twenty years ago a friend who was reading Christian Science literature invited me to go with her to a Sunday morning service. I was so impressed with the service that I too began to attend regularly the Sunday morning services and the Wednesday evening testimony meetings, as well as the lectures. At this time I was a member of a church of another denomination, but I soon found out that Christian Science was the religion that I had always desired. It gave me immediate peace and comfort. I purchased a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy; also the Christian Science Quarterly, containing the Lesson-Sermons, which I began to study daily.

I have experienced many healings simply by reading our textbook. Ills such as constipation, fistula, and throat trouble have been destroyed by Truth. Over and over again I have demonstrated the truth of Mrs. Eddy's statement in the Preface to Science and Health (p. vii), "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings."

I had a wonderful healing of a leg which had been severely injured in an automobile accident. Through this experience I gained a clearer understanding of the teachings of Christian Science and of the absolute divine Principle of scientific mental healing. I am very grateful to the practitioner who helped me to keep close to the Principle and rules of Christian Science in order to prove that Science does heal. I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and more than grateful for Christian Science.
