Twenty-six years ago my mother was restored to health through Christian Science treatment. She had been an invalid for more than twenty years, suffering from disorders which did not respond to medical treatment by competent physicians. When her condition became so critical that she was considered beyond medical aid, because of the advanced stage of tuberculosis of the bowels, she turned to Christian Science and was healed.

The physician who attended my mother stated that I was in the first stage of an ailment with which my mother was afflicted. After her healing I took up the study of Christian Science and earnestly read the writings of Mary Baker Eddy, which reveal that the healing, saving Word does today exactly what it has always done—makes whole—and thus I was cured. In consequence, the following years have been full of blessings: health, supply, protecting care, friendships, and a happy home, where divine Love has been our only physician these many years.

Christian Science has illumined the pages of the Bible, opened the door of opportunity to serve others, and brought the Comforter to our home. For these blessings, together with membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and for class instruction in Christian Science, I am deeply grateful.
