I give this testimony with a deep sense of gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me. Forty-five years ago it was brought to my attention by the healing of my husband's mother, after doctors had said that she had but a few weeks to live. The practitioner came to see her on a Tuesday. On Thursday she began doing her housework, and from then on she enjoyed better health than she had known for years.

From the very first I was convinced that Christian Science was the truth and just what I wanted, for I had always questioned the soundness of some of the orthodox teachings. During all these years I have had many proofs of God's care. I have had many occasions for gratitude for a better understanding of how to care for my children, for the overcoming of disease, and for learning to be a better and more loving mother.

Christian Science meant everything to me when my husband passed on. With the loving help of a practitioner, grief was destroyed. My family and I have experienced many physical healings and protection from contagion and accidents.
