No amount of phrases wrongly used, or phrases separated...

No amount of phrases wrongly used, or phrases separated from their context, or quotations, can ever prove that Christian Science, as your correspondent says, is "anti-God, anti-Christ, and anti-Biblical." Mary Baker Eddy is the rightful Discoverer and Founder of this religion, and the author of its textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," which has turned thousands to the daily study of the Bible.

The many words in the textbook for God, such as Principle, Mind, Love, Truth, Life, Spirit, Soul (used with capital letters), not only convey the thought of God as cause and creator, but show how wise, good, just, and loving He is as being everywhere present to save, heal, guide, and protect.

To love and understand God is not wrong; to strive to follow in the footsteps of the Master, Christ Jesus, is Christianity; and to turn to the inspired words of the Bible for the solution of every problem that can face humanity, is true wisdom. The Daily Telegraph, Sydney, reported a clergyman as saying, "Christian Science would not flourish as it does, were it not ministering to a real need in human life."
