Let us not say that the resurrection could not have happened. It did happen. We have the very best historical evidence for it. ...

If men are going to reject the resurrection of Christ [Jesus] as a well-authenticated fact, then, to be consistent, they had better throw out of court the whole story of Christ [Jesus]. Why accept the crucifixion story or the upper room story or the Gethsemane story or the triumphal entry story or the Sermon-on-the-Mount story, or the story of his birth, if we are going to throw away the Easter story? The latter must stand with all the others. ...
