In a recent issue you carry a special dispatch in regard to a "truth cult." In speaking of the organization you make the following statement:

"The society is composed of seekers afer truth... Many are followers of Christian Science, Unity, New Thought, Eschatology, and Walterism. ..."

You have been misinformed in so far as the Christian Scientists are concerned, for there are no Christian Scientists within the movement you mention. May I quote from the Church Manual of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, by Mary Baker Eddy, Article VIII, Section 16:

"It shall be the duty of the members of The Mother Church and of its branches to promote pease on earth and good will toward men; but members of The Mother Church shall not hereafter become members of other societies except those specified in The Mother Church Manual, and they shall strive to promote the welfare of all mankind by demonstrating the rules of divine Love."
