The compliment which "Hal" paid The Christian Science Monitor...

The compliment which "Hal" paid The Christian Science Monitor in a recent issue is appreciated by Christian Scientists. In his estimate, "Hal" recognized that the Monitor consistently looks for good in human affairs.

Christian Science reveals good as ever present and the real man as perfect. The writer of the article, "Man's Nature Is Divine," mentioned in your paper, evidently had this in thought.

The Bible speaks of man as the image and likeness of God. With a perfect God as the creator, the real creation must also be perfect.

Manifestly, this perfect man is not the human being which "Hal" properly evaluated as not being divine. Christian Science differentiates between the spiritual or real man and mankind. When this distinction is understood, the teachings of Christian Science are found to be consistent and comprehensible.

God's spiritual man, unknown to the physical senses, is altogether good and spiritual.
