I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science,...
I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science, which, when correctly applied, has met my every need.
About ten years ago my interest was aroused in Christian Science literature which I discovered placed in boxes in waiting rooms at railroad stations. I would pick out a copy of The Christian Science Journal from time to time and read all the testimonies, wondering how they could possibly be true. Not long after that I appeared to be at the end of my rope, for nothing more could be done, humanly. Being desperate, I decided to try Christian Science as a last resource. I wrote to a practitioner in a near-by city, and in a couple of days there came a great desire to go to her, which I did. I shall never forget the kindness and love she expressed. I left her office feeling very much uplifted and encouraged.
That was the beginning of my study of Christian Science. Since then a sense of fear has dropped away, and I have experienced great peace and happiness. Harmony has been restored in the home, business problems have been solved, and many other healings have taken place. The healing of unlovely traits of character, rheumatism, and periodical canker sores came about through reading "science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
