True Perseverance

PERSEVERANCE is necessary to achievement. True perseverance includes both blessing and promise; and it is certain of its reward.

When problems seem difficult to solve, it is a great help to persevere steadily, whatever the opposition or discouragement may seem to be.

When we turn wholeheartedly to God for help, we shall receive grace to solve our problems. We have to learn obedience, to walk in the way God directs us to take. We may come to see that there is another problem which must be solved before we can solve the one we think is most important. Humbly and reverently we must pray for patience, courage, wisdom, and grace to trust God, good, with all our heart, with all our understanding, with all that is within us. We shall need patience and courage, but we shall also find that entire confidence in God and His guidance will fill our hearts with songs of joy and gratitude.
