In a recent issue of your paper, under the heading "Clergyman's Talk on Spiritualism," the speaker is reported as having referred to "cults like theosophy and Christian Science."

As some of your readers may be misled by this statement, may I be allowed to point out that it is a mistake to group Christian Science with theosophy.

Mary Baker Eddy, Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, states in her book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 110), "No analogy exists between the vague hypotheses of agnosticism, pantheism, theosophy, spiritualism, or millenarianism and the demonstrable truths of Christian Science."

Jesus was master of every situation. Every crisis was to him an opportunity. Popularity could not lure from his great purpose, money could not buy him, doubt could not defeat him, ambition could not block him, and no sudden surprise could shake his poise. All this because he believed implicitly that this is a moral world and that "whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."
