It is time for me to express my gratitude for the understanding of God which Christian Science is giving to all mankind.

I am profoundly grateful that I have been reared in Christian Science. That is a privilege which only consecration to the Cause can repay. I owe much to earnest Sunday school teachers. When a small child, I began to apply the truth to problems, though I had the help of my mother or a practitioner when needed. Many error were overcome. Children's diseases, boils, biliousness, dizziness, influenza, extreme soreness of the stomach, headaches, colds and coughs, indigestion, and fear of heart trouble were healed, and each healing brought with it a purification of thought.

On the morning of a planned hike I had a sprained ankle. I began to search my thought to see what was preventing the healing. Suddenly I realized that I had entertained doubt. Instantly I destroyed the thought, and the next step I took was without pain. The foot was completely healed, and I went on a hike of several miles with complete freedom.
