Words fail me in expressing my gratitude to our beloved...

Words fail me in expressing my gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for her discovery of Christian Science and her unselfish desire to help all mankind.

When I first heard of Christian Science I laughed at what I thought it was, but I was to change my erroneous concept within a short time. My wife lent me a copy of the textbook. Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and I started to read it out of curiosity. Before I had read fifty pages of that wonderful book, I was healed of the smoking and drinking habits of more than twenty years' standing. Then my thought of Christian Science changed to gratitude for its Discoverer and Founder.

My wife then told me about practitioners, who understand and apply this Science, and help others to understand it. I shall never forget or stop being grateful for the loving help that a consecrated practitioner gave me during the most trying experience of my life. Because of her consecrated efforts I was healed of deafness, and many troubles left me. I was indeed "born again."
