There is a growing appreciation by newspaper editors that our publicity material is of value. Not many years ago it was refused outright, or reluctantly accepted and published. Now, as a rule, our material is recognized as having good news value and, in some instances, it has been requested by editors. During the past year an increased number of items have been accepted, indicating that the growth of previous years has kept its good pace.

The Christian Science Monitor has been quoted, or mentioned, 1062 times by the press in Northern California during the past official year.
