My Best

FLORENCE L. MAGERS

Help me to serve my best today,
Help me to think and do and say
That which is pleasing in Thy sight,
That which is based on Truth and right.
Help me to see, as Thou dost see,
Man in Thine image, pure and free;
Help me to know, what Thou dost know,
The perfect being all must show.
Help as Thou knowest well I need,
Make me more worthy of such meed;
Help me to say through every test,
"I thank Thee, Father, Thou knowest best!"
