I am glad of this opportunity to express my gratitude for Christian Science. For more than six happy years I have received much benefit, and the members of my family have enjoyed countless blessings. When I consider the many demonstrations of harmony I have experienced myself, or seen in the lives of others, I feel very humble indeed.

Knowing little or nothing of Christian Science, I attended a Christian Science lecture, partly to please my father, and partly out of curiosity to see how he had been healed. Two things heard at that lecture I shall never forget: first, that the strong, positive law of God, good, actually exists; secondly, the words of Jesus, "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me." I was instantaneously healed at that lecture of a physical trouble for which I had daily taken medicine for years.
