Expression

MARION ALICE BOWERS

Only by giving can I realize
The affluence that is forever mine,
Only by loving know the ever-presence
And sweet fulfillment of the Love divine.

Only by witnessing and demonstration
Can I be sure of any truth I know,
Only by living know the Life abundant
Which in the son doth God the Father show.

This is the law divine, as Jesus taught us,
Bringing to man the power of God most high,
Cleansing the thought of fear and lack and sickness
And proving man's immortal destiny.

How great his peace, his joy, his sweet compassion,
How kingly in the common ways he trod!
Oh, may we use this heritage of freedom,
"Beloved, now are we the sons of God."
