Signs of the Times
Topic: Religion and the Golden Rule
[From the Bromley and Kentish Times, London, England]
The lecture on Christian Science at the Rex Cinema on Sunday attracted a large audience—a reflection, possibly, of great developments in the international sphere. Undoubtedly people are adopting a more serious attitude towards things that are beyond their immediate horizon: and in consequence are anxious to seek guidance, wherever it is offered. One sees evidence of this in larger attendances at church services, public meetings, and also lectures on political subjects. It is evidence that people are rousing themselves.
