A Christian Science period in the Columbia West Coast...

A Christian Science period in the Columbia West Coast "Church of the Air" series was conducted from Station KVI, Tacoma, Washington, on Sunday morning, April 23, 1939, at 8 o'clock, by Arthur S. Hungerford, a former First Reader of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Tacoma. This program was radiocast under the auspices of the Committee on Publication for the State of Washington and had the approval of The Christian Science Board of Directors. Nell Duffy Holm, the soloist, was assisted by Ronald Hooper, organist.

The program opened with Hymn No. 374 in the Christian Science Hymnal. Then Mr. Hungerford read from the Bible as follows: Isaiah 63:7; 33:22, 24; Psalms 107:1–8; John 4:46–53; 14:8–12; Acts 10:34–38; James 1:17; and from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy: 119:21–24; 277:7–12 (As); 516:9–12, 19–23; 515:21–24 (Man); 147:24–29; 146:31–5; 329:1–12 (to first period); 333:4–9; 332:9–15 (Christ); 494:11–14, 30–2; 304:9–15; 76:22–26; 518:15–23; 248:29–32.

The program continued with Hymn No. 93 in the Christian Science Hymnal. Mr. Hungerford then read an address substantially as follows:
