I am unutterably grateful for Christian Science. In business, in health, and in my stage career, I have been blessed with many healing experiences.

Shortly after beginning the study of Christian Science, I left home in order to establish a millinery business of my own—a venture that meant stepping into an entirely new sphere of life. Then followed, through Christian Science, with the aid of a very loving practitioner, a period of purification and surmounting of obstacles, which brought with it untold blessings, the greatest of which was the destruction of fear of circumstances.

Again and again in meeting a crisis or facing a problem, I have rejoiced over a sense of freedom—an entire absence of fear of any kind. In my experience, Christian Science has been a preventive of physical ills.
