It would be impossible for me to express in words my gratitude for Christian Science. All my life I had experienced a friendly feeling toward this Science. although I seemed untouched by it. I had even sincerely recommended to several friends in need, that they try it, and in two cases these friends did so and have been active, working Scientists for many years.

Five years ago one of my sons, a young man twenty-three years of ago, was pronounced incurably ill by three physicians. This extremity was indeed God's opportunity. We immediately began the study of Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy. I am very grateful that my son eagerly followed me. In a short time he was free from fear, gaining in health each day, and progressing rapidly in his chosen line of work.

Since then my three daughters, two young ladies and a child of nine, have come naturally into a fine understanding of Christian Science; and we are indeed a happy, harmonious family, turning for all our help to this revelation of Truth. I am grateful for the activities connected with membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and for the friendship and love of fellow members; also for the privilege of the Sunday school teaching and loving teachers for my little girl. It is indeed difficult to find words to express the gratitude I feel for the practitioners, not alone for ourselves, but for what I have known them to do for others; their consecrated and healing thought proves so quickly the unreality of all forms of human distress.
