I should like to express my gratitude for all the blessings I have received through the study and application of Christian Science. I became interested in this Science more than thirty years ago when I was told that it was what Christ Jesus taught. I began to study it at once, and have had many proofs of God's care and protection.

I have been healed of constipation, pneumonia, nervous breakdown, and many other ailments. One demonstration which stands out to me is the overcoming of seasickness. For many years I could not ride on a train or a boat without becoming very ill; in fact, I could hardly look at the water. About ten years ago it was necessary for me to be on one of the large lake boats, and seasickness was entirely overcome, so that I enjoyed every minute of my trip on the water, even when it was stormy. The fear of water was overcome at the same time, so that I now enjoy even a rowboat.

The truth has never failed me when I have earnestly done my part. It has been my protection and supply for many years, and I have proved many times that "trials are proofs of God's care," as Mrs. Eddy states on page 66 of Science and Health.
