I read with interest the letter of your correspondent, "Orthodox," in a recent issue, and ask space for a brief comment on his remarks.
An article published in L'Ordre recently, referring to Christian Science and to Mary Baker Eddy, is brought to my attention and motivates my calling on your courteousness for the insertion in your newspaper of the following remarks: Christian Science is not a quasireligious movement.
An article appearing in a recent issue of the Call has been brought to my attention because of its irrelevant reference to Christian Science, and I should like to correct the impression one paragraph in it gives.
In a recent issue of the Advocate reference was made to Christian Science in a way that was somewhat misleading, and this correction is respectfully submitted.
Since I was told that I might choose my own subject, and as you are now engaged in studying the Old Testament characters, we may find it helpful to trace briefly, through Old Testament history, the revelation of the one God to mankind.
