In the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mrs. Eddy writes (p. 390): "It is our ignorance of God, the divine Principle, which produces apparent discord, and the right understanding of Him restores harmony." Christian Science is dispelling ignorance of God through its teaching, which are based wholly upon the Bible. The miracles of the Old and New Testaments Christian Science accepts as fundamental evidence of God's eternal, spiritual laws, the understanding of which brings harmony into human experience.
