When recalling all the benefits and blessings which have come to me and to my family through Christian Science, I feel that I shall always be humbly grateful I would not wish that I might have been spared a single experience, because each one has meant a spiritual victory.

I shall never forget the wonderful healing which my daughter had four years ago, after a hard fall from her tricycle. The fall resulted in a very badly inflamed mouth and gums. A Christian Science practitioner was called to take the case and, in a very short time after treatment was begun, the swelling and inflammation subsided, and the child was able to eat without any discomfort. At the end of six weeks the child's teeth, which had been pushed up into the gums, were restored to normal position. My daughter has also been healed of colds, sore throat, croup, and a severe case of dysentery.

At one time I was freed from a physical ailment after I had asked for help for my daughter, who seemed to be suffering from a severe cold and croup. Before studying Christian Science, I had had an operation for the removal of a growth in my nose. Relief from this condition proved only temporary. There were times when the nasal passages closed completely and I was forced to breathe through the mouth. The work which was done for the child at the time when I seemed to be suffering was so far-reaching as to replace my false concept of man with the true, and with this change of basis from the unreal to the real, both my danghter and I were healed. The healing has been permanent, and this experience proved for me that nothing is ever really healed except through divine Love.
