I should like to express my great gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me.

Nearly twenty years ago I was ordered to leave London, and told by a doctor that if I had to work it must be in the country. He was afraid I had the symptoms of consumption, my mother having passed on with this disease, and wished me to go into a sanatorium. On writing to the sanatorium I was told that there was no vacancy for a week or ten days. In the meantime, however, Christian Science treatment was asked for and given. This enabled me within two weeks to take a position in London which required working until midnight in a busy office, and I have been able to hold this position ever since.

I was also healed of great grief and of a nervous breakdown after losing a brother in the war. Another healing was of a poisoned thumb, gangrene having set in. The doctor said I should have to lose the first joint, but the thumb was healed in a few days.
