Lecturer: Gavin W. Allan; introduced by Mrs. Fay D. Soven, who said:—

A number of years ago, I accepted an invitation to hear a lecture on Christian Science. I came in a most unhappy and disturbed frame of mind, because I was faced with the necessity of making a very important decision affecting my future, and I was in the grip of a great fear that I might make a mistake. I listened very carefully to the words of the speaker, and after some little time it dawned upon my consciousness that since God is Love, all-power, all-intelligence, He is entirely capable of meeting every need of His creation, and that, therefore, God could and would solve my problem; and with this realization there occurred what at that time seemed to me a miracle. Suddenly, I felt as if a great burden were being lifted from my shoulders. For the first time in several weeks I was happy, joyous, free; and when I left that auditorium I had made my decision, perfectly certain of its correctness.
