Because of the many blessings received through reading the testimonies in our periodicals I should like to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me.

I took up the study of Christian Science definitely in 1930 for a healing of eczema. While having help for this trouble from a consecrated practitioner, I went as the leader of a group of eighteen boys on a camping trip of three days' duration on the sand dunes of Indiana. I was the only Christian Scientist in this group. The second night of our stay in camp, when we were eight miles from the nearest large town, one of the boys was suddenly attacked by appendicitis. I immediately set to work declaring the truth, and kept repeating constantly to myself "the scientific statement of being," as found on page 468 of our textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. In three hours the difficulty was completely healed. I am grateful for this healing, for it proved to me the allness of God under all circumstances and in all places. My own healing of eczema took place within two days.

I am grateful for the overcoming of the smoking habit and the social drinking habit and for having had the privilege of class instruction from a consecrated worker.
