For more than twenty years, Christian Science has been my physician, my guide, my Comforter, that to which I have turned in every hour of need and never in vain.

I did not look into Christian Science for physical healing, but because I was in search of the truth—the truth that Jesus said would make us free. However, at the time Christian Science found me I was a nervous, discontented, unhappy woman vainly reaching out for a "going basis," as I called it, and for something that would fill a void in my experience, which nothing had ever been able to fill. I was, of course, reaching out for God, although at the time I was not conscious of it.

When I found Christian Science, however, I knew that my search was ended, for the Science of being as taught by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, in her textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," has brought to me health and harmony, happiness and peace. It has given me a solution for every problem, a healing for every claim of disease, an infallible rule to live by, and most of all it has given me a tender, loving Father-Mother God—a God close at hand, whose everlasting arms are round about us, who is ever ready to guide and save if we will but seek that guidance.
