Now Is the Time to Be Grateful

Now while the clouds conceal the sun,
and the tempest roars, by wild winds driven,
sing now a song, O struggling one—
a song of joy. To you are given,
by Mind, dominion and power to prove
the impotence of error's claim;
is given the strength to rise above
the storms and fogs of earth's domain,
into the sunlight of healing Love.

You know the truth, be glad, rejoice.
Be not deceived by error's show;
if you will listen for His voice,
God will point out the way to go.
For this, sing now your song, though still
the storm seems sharp, the winds sound wild;
and singing, know that in God's will
is only good for His dear child.
