I am very grateful for the help and sustaining power...

I am very grateful for the help and sustaining power Christian Science has given me.

A few years ago I was on my way to a Literature Distribution meeting. It was rather dark, and very suddenly without warning I fell heavily on hard, icy ground. Before getting up I turned in thought immediately to the one perfect Mind, and said aloud, "There are no accidents in divine Mind," as we are taught in Christian Science. And as I had an hour's ride to take, I constantly kept working for myself, earnestly praying to be guided. I continued on my journey and enjoyed the meeting, but on returning home I felt it wise to ask help from a practitioner. The practitioner very kindly and lovingly offered to take me to a surgeon, as my arm and hand seemed badly swollen and bruised and I was unable to move my fingers. But I was so confident of her ability and understanding of the truth of being that I was willing to leave it with Principle. The healing was slow but complete, and I am very grateful. I am also grateful for many other healings, including those of heart trouble, ptomaine poisoning, and grief at the passing on of my mother.

I wish to express my gratitude for our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who has given so much to the world; for our loyal practitioners and lecturers, and our periodicals; also for the faithful, loyal service of The Christian Science Board of Directors.—(Miss) E. Marion Parker, Arlington Heights, Massachusetts.
