["Church of the Air" talk over Columbia Broadcasting System by Judge Clifford P. Smith, February 20, 1938. Subject: "Important Points in Christian Science"]

The station announcer said: Good morning, Ladies and Gentlemen: It is Columbia's pleasure to present another program in the seventh consecutive year of the "Church of the Air" series. The program today is given under the auspices of the Committee on Publication of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, with the approval of The Christian Science Board of Directors of this church, and is coming to you from Station WEEI, Boston. The broadcast is conducted by Judge Clifford P. Smith, President of The Mother Church. The subject of Judge Smith's address is, "Important Points in Christian Science." The soloist, Miss Blanche Haskell, is assisted by Miss Gertrude R. Litchfield at the organ. We now give the program into the hands of Judge Smith.

Judge Smith opened the program by reading selections from the Bible as follows: Proverbs 16:3; Isaiah 5:20; Amos 5:14; Philippians 2:1, 2, 5; Ephesians 4:7, 17, 18, 22—24; Romans 8:16. And from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy: 275:6—19; 91:5, 16; 258:9; 259:6, 26; 258:21; 322:3—9, 31; 261:4.
