I Will Let Go
I will
let go—let go of human planning,
Entrust myself to Love, who holds me dear.
Phantoms of darkness disappear, by scanning
The wondrous works of God;
I need not fear.
I need but trust and follow close His leading,
Despite the hollow whisperings of care.
My weak attempt for earth-gain is vain pleading
I will let go —
Love holds me in His care.
