On page 293 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy we read that "Christian Science brings to light Truth and its supremacy, universal harmony, the entireness of God, good, and the nothingness of evil." It is with great joy and gratitude that I am able to testify to the truth of this statement. Before I knew of Christian Science I was living in a constant state of fear, especially in the fear of what the future might have in store for my family and me, as throughout our married life we had been faced with all sorts of difficult problems, physical, mental, and financial. I was continually wondering what the outcome of it all would be, thereby making my life and that of those around me very miserable. However, since I have learned of this wonderful truth, I am very grateful that I am now able to live each day as it comes, and to consciously rejoice in the omnipresence of omnipotent and omniscient Love.

We are told in the Bible that "there is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear." Since I have come to realize the power of this Love, we have had many proofs in the home of God's care and protection, and of the healing power of Truth. A very outstanding one that took place a short time ago was the healing of our eldest son, in a very few days, of what a specialist and two doctors stated to be a serious case of meningitis. In three days after Christian Science treatment was begun he was able to sit up in bed, eat normal food, and write a long letter to his wife. Our other son was protected when he was involved in two very serious motor accidents. Also, a short time ago he was saved from drowning when, in the course of performing his duties, he fell into the river and was not able to swim.

I have had many healings myself, one of which was instantaneous. My fingers became trapped when the door of a motor vehicle was slammed shut rather quickly. The pain at first was very severe, but directly I declared the truth that there is no consciousness of accidents or of anything discordant in God's kingdom, and that everything is in harmony with perfect Being, a complete healing resulted.
