With increasing gratitude for Christian Science I wish to add my testimony to the many others.

For several years I had thought I should investigate Christian Science, but I knew nothing about it and mortal mind argued that I might ask foolish questions and appear ridiculous. But my "extremity" was "God's opportunity" and the blessings I have received have been many.

My first healing was of fear of driving in the mountains. I had gone to Colorado to take a position. At the time I was suffering from a great sense of loss. I thought that if I had a car I could be out of doors more and that would be beneficial. After purchasing the car I was unable to drive it with any pleasure, although I had driven for years. I wanted to go to a certain place, but people told me that I could not go until I had driven in the mountains. I did not know how I could learn to drive in the mountains if I did not try, but I was afraid to start. Finally, an acquaintance urged me to see a Christian Science practitioner. I shall always be grateful for this. The practitioner explained why I could drive in the mountains, and recommended that I call him when I wanted to go and he would help me. I left the garage at four o'clock, drove over a fairly difficult road, and was so thrilled with the freedom I experienced that I drove for four hours without stopping. It was a glorious experience.
