My gratitude for Christian Science increases as my study of this subject unfolds more of its beauty and grandeur. It is about sixteen years since I became a student of this Science of Mind-healing.

I had been suffering for many years from ulcers of the stomach, and had undergone an operation which failed to heal me. This left me anemic, extremely nervous, and with other distressing conditions. I was under a physician's care for many years, growing weaker each day. The physician at last told my husband that there was no help for me, and that he doubted if I should live very much longer. Then through a neighbor Christian Science came into my life. "Man's extremity is God's opportunity." I asked help from a practitioner, studied and applied this wonderful truth to the best of my ability; and I was healed of all these ills.

Christian Science proved to be my support and help at the passing on of a dear one. The sense of loneliness has been overcome by the realization of the nearness of divine Love. With the help of a practitioner and through our studying and declaring the truth, my mother was healed of paralysis in a few months. She is eighty years old and is an earnest student of Christian Science, very grateful for her healing, and for the spiritual understanding she has gained from the Bible and from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. The overcoming of family discord was accomplished by our understanding of God and man's relation to Him.
