It is with deep gratitude that I give my testimony of healing through Christian Science. A number of years ago I was taken with articular rheumatism, which so deformed my hands that I could no longer use them. I spent several months in a clinic because of suffering in my eyes due to the rheumatism, and I stayed in bed a great deal of the time because of rheumatic heart attacks. For five years I followed various medical treatments, and the last doctor I consulted gave me no hope of healing.

In this time of great discouragement, some friends told me about Christian Science, and I attended a Wednesday evening testimony meeting. The next day I went to the home of a practitioner, who comforted me with her loving work. Very soon I had the joy of noting a great improvement in my condition: I was freed from the fear of heredity. Holding firmly to the truth, I was greatly rewarded. After a few treatments I was able to walk about the apartment without support, and all soreness in my limbs disappeared. Little by little my hands became normal. I am now in excellent health, and the memory of this bad dream has disappeared. I have become again as a little child, seeking the truth which frees. I ask God to help me every day with each problem I may have to solve.

I am exceedingly grateful to God, to Christ Jesus, who has shown us the way, also to Mrs. Eddy, who has again brought the beautiful truth to light, and to the kind practitioner who helped me in those difficult hours.
