I have great cause to praise and thank God for the many blessings and healings which I have received. Christian Science came into our home about twenty-five years ago, when my wife became interested. But I was not ready for it, in fact, I was unwilling to hear about it and antagonistic towards it.

About five years later a dear friend of mine was instantaneously healed of dementia. This healing was so complete and beautiful that it brought about my healing at the same time. All reluctance, opposition, and self-righteousness vanished, and I began to study this great truth. With it a new life started; joy, happiness, contentment filled my heart, and I have been rewarded with peace and harmony all these years.

When I took up the study of Christian Science, I was not looking for any physical healing. About two years ago the suggestion came that as I was employed where there was neither sunshine nor fresh air, I was not getting my share of them. It was not long before I became a very sick man; my heart would not function properly, and every organ in my body seemed to be sore. At first I tried to overcome the condition by myself, but finally had to ask for help from a practitioner, which was lovingly given. I was beautifully healed, although slowly. I know that if it had not been for the healing power and efficacy of Christian Science, I should not be here to give my testimony. This experience taught me the necessity of refusing admission to any erroneous thinking or aggressive mental suggestion.
