After enjoying the wonderful blessings that come to all who depend upon God for relief from discord of every kind, as we are taught to do in Christian Science, I feel that I should express my gratitude through the channel Mrs. Eddy provided for that purpose, the Christian Science periodicals.

Our first experience was my healing of tuberculosis through reading the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.

I took cold in October, and although I followed the doctor's instructions as closely as possible, I grew worse very rapidly. The day before Thanksgiving I consulted the physician. He talked very discouragingly of my condition. The bronchial tubes were so inflamed and congested that he could not make a definite statement that day, but said if he was not very much mistaken it was the kind of tuberculosis that did its work quickly. Thanksgiving Day I was in bed, unable to talk intelligently to my little children, and was in a semiconscious condition for two days.
