The day that the blessed truth of Christian Science brought healing into our home, improvement along all lines began to appear. My quick restoration to health after many years of semi-invalidism was so apparent to all that my entire family received Christian Science with an open thought. No opposition was encountered when material remedies were abandoned, and God became our only Physician. The greatest joy was experienced when it was seen how readily the children in the home grasped and utilized the truth, making remarkable demonstrations for themselves and others.

On one occasion, the father of the family returned home complaining of feeling ill asked for mother to help him. He was told of mother's absence, but the little seven-year-old daughter remarked, "You know, daddy, God is here—and I am here and can help you." Whereupon, after her father had retired, she sat beside him until he was asleep. Upon awakening, quite free, the following morning, he gave thanks to God and to the little child who had healed him.

For more than thirty years this blessed truth of Christ's teaching, which Mary Baker Eddy discovered to be a demonstrable Science, has been blessing our home.
