Sincere gratitude prompts me to share with others some of the blessings which Christian Science has brought me during the past six years.

Mary Baker Eddy writes on page 494 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." This was beautifully proved to me a short time after I began reading the above-mentioned textbook. For about three years I had been wearing glasses; the doctors had pronounced my condition a bad case of astigmatism. But even with the spectacles I was not able to read more than an hour at a time without my eyes hurting so that I had to stop. Because of this I would have had to limit my study of Christian Science to a short time each day, but after reading for only a few days I realized that my eyes were completely healed. I threw away my glasses and have never needed them since.

At that time I was also suffering with what is termed hay fever. This troubled me so much that I was not able to breathe through my nose when lying down, and consequently I was not able to sleep well at night. One night when I was suffering from this malady, I decided to get up and read from Science and Health. After reading for about two hours I came to the following sentence on page 467: "Having no other gods, turning to no other but the one perfect Mind to guide him, man is the likeness of God, pure and eternal, having that Mind which was also in Christ." I knew then that I would never use any remedy but Christian Science for this trouble, and when this decision was made, I was instantaneously healed.
