The station announcer said: Good afternoon, Ladies and Gentlemen: It is Columbia's pleasure to present another program in the sixth consecutive year of the "Church of the Air" series. The service today is coming to you from Station KSFO, San Francisco, and is approved by The Christian Science Board of Directors of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts. The broadcast is conducted by George Channing, Christian Science Committee on Publication for Northern California. The subject of Mr. Channing's address is "The Pathway to Harmony." The soloist on the program is Mrs. Eileen Elman Becker, assisted by Mr. Theodore Strong at the piano. We now give the program into the hands of Mr. Channing.

Mr. Channing opened the program by reading selections from the Bible as follows: I Corinthians 3:18, 19; 1:25–30; 2:1, 2, 5, 9, 10; James 1:5; 3:13–17; I Kings 3:5, 6, 9–14; Romans 11:33–36. And from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy: 469:7–11, 25–5 (next page); 467:1–13; 103: 6–15; 265:3–15.

The program continued with the solo "Only Turning to Love's Guidance" by Arthur F. M. Custance—published by Ditson.
