Having been a reader of the many wonderful testimonies of healing in the Journal and Sentinel for several years, I should like to tell of a few of the things Christian Science has done for me.

I have been completely healed of colds and sick headaches, having had both since childhood. As I grew older, the colds became more frequent and the headaches more severe, and when, through the application of Christian Science, they ceased to appear, it was indeed as when Christ Jesus rebuked the raging of the winds and waves "and there was a great calm." I have also been healed of burns, cuts, and poisonous bites. A pet cat was healed of mange and blindness when he was in such a condition that friends were asking why I did not have him put out of the way. In less than two weeks he was entirely healed.

These physical healings are wonderful and I am grateful for them; but I am most grateful for the fact that I have found God, and that I have learned how to pray truly and to receive answers to my prayers. It is this new understanding of what God is, and man's relationship to Him, that brings healing, both physical and moral. Fear is being destroyed; resentment, irritability, and hate are being healed. No matter where we are, or what we need, we may turn to God for help and receive it instantly.
