Christian Science means everything to me; it has blessed me in many ways for so many years that I hardly know where to begin to express my gratitude.

When I took up the study of this Science I had a wrong concept of God. My mental picture was of a manlike God whom I could reach only by dying. Christian Science very quickly changed that concept and gave me a loving Father-Mother God, who does not send evil, but gives good, and good only; who is ever present to help in every trouble; our great and only Physician. In my study of Science I have found a beautiful, practical religion that has taught and is teaching me to live better and to love more. In it I have found such protection and prevention that I have enjoyed good health by realizing that health is mental and that it belongs to Mind. God, and because man is the reflection of God, he can never lose health. However, it has healed me, at various times, of colds, influenza, rheumatism, and other minor ills of the flesh. Simply through reading our wonderful textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I was enabled to lay off glasses which I had worn for over fifteen years. This was many years ago, and I have never felt the need of them since.

Christian Science not only heals physical ills, but it also heals temperamental characteristics, which really are the cause of much of our inharmony. I have also had marvelous proofs of God's power to supply my daily financial needs, proving to me that He is, indeed, the Giver of "every good gift and every perfect gift."
