Lecturer: John Randall Dunn; introduced by Mrs. Ruby Burdick, who said:—

I first heard of Christian Science about twenty-five years ago. At that time I was suffering from a painful physical condition diagnosed by our family physician as chronic catarrh of the stomach. I had been under the care of this physician for several years and was very faithful and obedient to all that he prescribed, but still I remained a sufferer. Finally I discontinued the medical treatment, also the medicine, and turned to Christian Science. I had always had faith in God, but it was a blind faith—I never really understood Him, especially as the Healer of disease. The practitioner explained to me the fundamentals of this practical, healing religion, and with her help I was completely and permanently healed in four weeks' time.
