My Heart Is Fixed

Within God's gracious, omnipresent love,
Protection and security are found
For all. And so the longing in this breast
Has ceased, and peace like quiet joy is mine—
My heart is fixed!

Within the sanctuary of His love
The turbulence of all the world can find
Its calm, the sickness of the world be healed,
And this rebellious spirit find sweet rest—
My heart is fixed!

This is the peace not understood before;
This is the pearl of priceless worth, I know,
And this the loveliness of Love for all.
I shall rejoice, for I am one of His—
My heart is fixed!
