Out of a deep sense of gratitude I testify to the healing power of Christian Science.

About five years ago I was attacked by severe pains in the bladder. The doctor diagnosed it as inflammation of the bladder and treated me for it. When no improvement had occurred after five months, I was turned over to the care of a specialist. Here, too, I found no healing, and had to go to a hospital for observation. After a few days it was decided that I must have an operation. As I was suffering very much from the pain, I decided in January, 1933, to have the operation in the hope of being freed from my suffering. When, after that, I had lain another five weeks in the hospital and still was not healed, I was taken home to be treated by a magnetizer. This treatment, too, was unsuccessful; and after that I was treated by one doctor after another. During this period we consulted twelve doctors.

In April, 1934, I again had severe abdominal pains and once more I had to go to the hospital. At this difficult time my husband heard of Christian Science. He quickly resolved to turn to a practitioner, who gave me absent treatment. At my husband's wish I was released from the hospital. Home again, I eagerly studied Christian Science, and on the second day after the first visit with the practitioner I was freed from my suffering of so many years' standing.
