Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

The Western Morning News carried a series of articles under the heading, "How Plymouth Worships," and one of these articles was a report of a service at First Church of Christ, Scientist, Plymouth.

One item from The Christian Science Monitor was reproduced in the North Devon Journal. The Western Morning News published a review of a book that called for a reply, which was duly published.

One of the approved ways of making Christian Science better known is to offer to newspapers for printing without charge constructive material such as the Lesson-Sermon excerpts. The publication of such items in the Devonshire press has been steadily maintained during the period covered by this report. It is interesting to observe that three newspapers in places where at present there is no branch of The Mother Church are publishing these items regularly.
